Abeer Al Khalifah
Multidisciplinary Artist
A multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in nature, memory, and place. Drawing inspiration from her homeland, Al Qassim, Abeer Al Khalifah explores the visual language of the landscape through organic forms, traditional patterns, and natural textures.
Her work reflects a deep connection to the environment, where elements from local architecture, textiles, and natural materials are reinterpreted into tactile, layered compositions. Through this approach, she translates the quiet rhythms of nature into contemporary artworks that feel both grounded and timeless.
By bridging traditional influences with a modern artistic sensibility, Abeer’s practice celebrates the richness of regional identity while offering a contemplative, material-driven expression that resonates beyond its origins.

Kimpton KAFD, Riyadh, KSA
For Kimpton KAFD, Riyadh, Abeer Al Khalifah created a tactile, site-responsive artwork rooted in material, landscape, and memory. Drawing from the natural environment of Al Qassim, the piece was composed of individually cut palm-trunk elements, assembled to reflect organic growth and geological layering. Preserving the material’s natural texture and irregularity, the work reads as an honest expression of time and place, and was integrated into the café living lobby as a quiet counterpoint to the contemporary interior, grounding the space within the project’s broader dialogue between nature, heritage, and modern luxury.
