Loreta Bilinskatite-Monie
Textile Artist

Loreta Bilniskaite-Monie, originally from Lithuania, pursued her studies at Central Saint Martins School University of the Arts London. Relocating to Dubai in 2003, she draws continuous inspiration from the rich traditions and diverse cultures of the Middle East.

Engaging actively in the art scene, she has taken part in numerous exhibitions and initiatives. Notable among them are her solo presentations such as 'Madafati (Home Away from Home)' at The Third Line in 2010 and Downtown Design Dubai 2018.

Loreta Bilniskaite-Monie was commissioned to create a centerpiece of three exclusive framed masterpieces that seamlessly blend official Saudi royal family photography with intricate hand-woven embroidery.
