Set along the marina promenade of Egypt’s North Coast, Vida Marassi Marina unfolds as a contemporary seaside retreat shaped by movement, craft and Mediterranean light. From the very first steps into the property, the artworks introduce the resort’s visual language: calm, tactile and shaped by the Mediterranean coast. Each space is anchored by pieces that express the fluidity of water, the textures of the shoreline and the quiet sophistication of the Vida brand.

In the arrival experience, soft natural tones and rhythmic forms echo the surrounding seascape. Artworks draw from The Coastal Journey, translating wave patterns, marine life and the textured cliffs of the North Coast into layered compositions. The marina’s atmosphere — yachts drifting into view, the movement of light across the water, the energy of a promenade lined with dining and retail — becomes a backdrop that is subtly mirrored in the artwork’s palette and materials.

Inspirations come from extensive research into the traditional craft practices of Egyptian coastal artisans. Their weaving, pottery, tapestry, wood carving and glasswork inform the project’s tactile sensibility. These influences appear in sculptural accents, hand-finished accessories and artworks that explore movement, repetition and natural texture. The handmade quality is present without overpowering the contemporary calm of the interiors.

As guests transition through guestrooms, suites and serviced apartments, the artworks shift in tone and detail. Embellished prints reference water ripples, coastal layers and the tonal shifts of the Mediterranean horizon. Sculptural pieces provide dimensional moments that interrupt clean lines with organic shapes. Accessories reinforce this material story through ceramics, natural fibres and stone finishes that echo the palette of the destination.

Throughout the resort, a palette of muted blues, seagrass greens and warm neutrals ties the spaces together. In the guestrooms, artworks are chosen to enhance a sense of ease and warmth, integrating quietly into the interior language. The suites introduce a richer artistic expression, incorporating commissioned pieces, sculptural installations and artisan-made accessories that create a deeper connection to the coastal narrative.

The serviced apartments follow a more residential rhythm. A core artwork collection is layered with additional original and sculptural works depending on layout, offering guests a softer, homely interpretation of the coastal story. Accessories continue this approach, combining practical styling pieces with handcrafted elements produced exclusively in Egypt.

Across the entire resort, the art acts as a continuous gentle thread that links each space to its setting. Inspired by the marina’s movement, the coastline’s textures and Egypt’s enduring craft legacy, the collection shapes a distinctive sense of place — one that enhances the guest journey and reflects the essence of Marassi’s Mediterranean lifestyle.
