Capsule Arts 2025 Year in Review
Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar receiving Best Use of Art in a Hotel Project at the CID Hospitality Awards 2025.
2025 marked a year of focused delivery for Capsule Arts, spanning art strategy, curatorial design, product development, and project execution across hospitality and commercial spaces in the region. Guided by research-led, narrative-driven thinking, our work continued to connect people to places through art—ensuring each collection responded meaningfully to architectural intent, spatial function, and cultural context.
Based in Dubai, Capsule Arts worked across projects in the Middle East, delivering bespoke art and accessory collections for hospitality environments including Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar, The Luxury Collection Hotel, Bab Samhan, and Rove Al Marjan Island. Our scope extended from early-stage art advisory and artist commissioning through to production, sourcing, and on-site delivery, supporting integrated spatial outcomes.
This body of work was recognised across several industry platforms. Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar was awarded Best Use of Art in a Hotel Project at the CID Hospitality Awards 2025, while Rove Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah, was shortlisted in the same category at the Commercial Interior Design Hospitality Awards. The Luxury Collection Hotel, Bab Samhan was also shortlisted for Best Use of Art in Interior Design at the Commercial Interior Design MENA Awards 2025.
Beyond commissioned projects, 2025 also saw the presentation of the Capsule Collection at Downtown Design Riyadh. The design-led body of work explored material, form, and craft through handmade pieces developed in Dubai, extending the studio’s work into collectible and object-based design.
In parallel, Capsule Arts marked its 13th anniversary, reflecting on the studio’s evolution and continued commitment to long-term, research-driven practice and collaboration.
Throughout the year, Capsule Arts remained engaged with the wider cultural landscape through participation in Al Quoz Art Fest, Sikka Art & Design Festival, and RAK Art Fest.
Overall, 2025 reflected a year of focused progress, with projects and collaborations continuing into 2026.
